Wings

"Wings" is an angel who can not fly because his wings are too small and he is too heavy. He is a quite clumsy fellow with a big belly and long arms. Additionally I filled steel pellets into his feet and belly, so that he is able to stand properly and that you feel him when you carry him. Unfortunately, this fact contributes to his unability to fly. His fur is a heavenly white mohair with golden lurex fibres. His very big feet, his hands and his face are needle sculpted. Furthermore I plucked his toes, his fingers and his snout. I finished his face by shading it with golden dye. His claws and his nose are stitched with golden thread, they haven´t been waxed. Due to his double head joint he is able to perform many looks. Of course, he is able to move his wrists, too. His wings feature small white feathers. I enhanced them by drawing some golden stars on them.
"Wings" needs a new mum who takes care of him, now that he got stuck on earth, not able to fly up in heaven again. He loves stroking and cuddling. Furthermore he is keen on Christmas time. All the glittering Christmas trees, the lights everywhere and the snow remember him of heaven. So he will always be fond of helping you with your Christmas decoration. Of course, he also loves New Year with all the fireworks. But he also loves just gazing at the stars in a clear night with you.
He flew over the sea to Canada in order to sit under the Christmas Tree of Olivia. Angels told me he is very happy there!
