"Prince J."
21st April 2010, 149 g, 18 cm (7.09 "), 8 joints

This little prince, who prefers when you call him PJ, still has to grow into his crown. Often, he stands on his seat to appear taller. PJ comes with his homemade red seat and his homemade crown, the latter is a bit too big for him. Rhinestones in dark red and pale green decorate his crown and his two finger rings. PJ himself has been made of golden short pile mohair. His fingers, toes, inner ears and face have been shaved and needle sculpted. I used a bit of dye to add some shadows to his face, feet and hands. His black glass eyes match his black stitched nose and claws. For his size he is quite heavy. I stuffed him with sheep´s wool and used steel pellets in feet and belly in order to make him heavy. He can sit and stand alone very well. Like almost all of my teddy bears he has a double head joint and movable wrists, arms and legs. By the way, he has one stronger ear that stands up to hold the crown. The weaker ear hangs down a bit. His assymetric ears make his face even more lively, I think.

"Prince J." is a bit impatient. He loves it when you take him in your hand and tickle his belly. Furthermore he needs much attention and love. He is also very communicative and always wants you to tell him stories about your everyday work. Of course, he enjoys fairy tales about kings and queens and little princes.

"Prince J." has moved into his new kingdom in Grünbach, Austria, and is happy to have a loving queen called Nicole. Let´s see, which of his furry friends will receive a knighthood.
