This is one of my "Ben & Jerry´s" ice-cream bears. He is called "half baked", just like the flavour. After my journey to the USA, I felt the strong obligation to praise this flavour sensation. Here in Germany hardly anybody knows ice-cream like that. So this is the first teddy expressing my love for "Ben & Jerry´s". His natural white short pile mohair represents the vanilla ice-cream of this flavour, the brown short pile mohair looks like chocolate ice-cream. As the flavour "half baked" also contains chocolate brownies and gobs of chocolate chip cookie dough, I applied some brownies and some cookie dough onto his fur. They are made of natural white and brown Suédine and the chocolate chips are stitched. The colour added makes the chocolate melt. His heels, the heels of his hands and the toes are sewed in and consist of Suédine, too. These "cookies" and "brownies" on palms and soles don´t show any chocolate chips. Even his snout resembles a big brownie (Suédine) with a big fudge nose that is stitched and waxed. The crisp chocolate pieces that make this ice-cream an adventure once and for all are made of Fimo. What concerns his joints, "half baked" possesses 8 joints in order to make him very movable. Particularly when lolling in his tub (that comes genuinely from the USA!) he can use his double neck joint to watch each and every scene that happens around him. Due to the joints in his wrists he is able to beg for a spoon full of ice-cream. However he is not able to stand without help. He can sit and loll the better, because of his extraordinary body shape and the steel pellets in his belly. By the way this chubby fellow weighs 309 g and is 24 cm (9.45 ") tall.
"Half Baked" is a very happy bear, maybe because of the respectable amount of chocolate he consists of. His motto is "Eat some "Ben & Jerry´s" when the sun isn´t shining or you just feel bad". Of course he recommends ice-cream in many other situations, for example when sitting in front of the TV. Additionally he is a very good and patient listener. Now he is looking for a nice loving home in order to light up his new mum´s life! *He comes with his tub!*
Finally "Half Baked" has found a new home! Now he lives happily with his new mum Karen in San Francisco, USA. I guess he'll want to accompany Karen when she goes shopping in the next super market to make sure she buys some "Ben & Jerry´s" ice cream ;O)! He will be fond of American super markets!
