On a sunny day this Autumn I wanted to eat my last ice-cream for this summer. But instead of buying an ice-cream I had the idea to make an ice-cream bear named "Little ice-cream". His flavour is yoghurt-berries. His mohair is a fantastic batik fabric, which is yoghurt-white, raspberry-red and blueberry-blue. Of course, "Little ice-cream yoghurt-berries" has got a round belly. Due to the steel pellets in his feet and belly he stands very well. To enable him to sit and stand in many positions, I used wire in his arms and legs. Moreover he is stuffed quite loose and the joints are not as fast as they usually are, in order to make it easier for him to move. So he is for example able to bend its arms and legs. In addition to the 7 typical joints he got a double head joint. Furthermore I needle sculpted his feet, hands and face. His toes, fingers and nose are shaved. In his face I used a bit of colour to shade it. His claws and nose are stitchend and waxed. Eventually the whole bear weighs 340 g and is 21 cm (8.27 ")tall.
"Little ice-cream yoghurt-berries" loves it to be fondled behind his ears. Generally he is in need of love and likes to be brushed very much.
Now "Little Ice Cream" lives with his new mum Kira and many furry friends in Moscow! I am very happy that he joines a brother of him in such a nice home!
